Questions

Short answers to the questions people ask before they connect an account.

Does Turtle Terminal hold my money? No. Your exchange does. Turtle Terminal sends orders and reads your account.

Can Turtle Terminal stop a trade I place directly at my exchange? No. It detects the fill on the next sync and records it as unguarded.

Is the daily loss limit real-time? No. It is checked before every order you place through Turtle Terminal and after every sync, at most 60 seconds apart, around the clock.

Can I override a block? Only if you turned overrides on for that rule. Every override is recorded with your reason.

Can I loosen a rule? Yes, after the rule change delay you set. Tightening is instant.

What if Turtle Terminal is down? Trade at your exchange. Your positions and open orders live there.

What markets? Spot crypto pairs on the exchanges we support, and margin where the exchange offers it. Derivatives — futures, perpetuals and options — are not supported.

Which exchanges? Kraken, Coinbase and Binance, each connected with your own API keys, plus the built-in demo exchange.

Do you give trading advice? No. Rules are yours; Turtle Terminal enforces them.

Do you sell my data or trade against my orders? No. The subscription is the only revenue.
